I love light. Love, love, love it. One recent evening I was driving to church and the sky was totally overcast, nearing sunset. The light was almost heavenly and soft. So beautiful, it’s hard to describe! It’s almost like the light just wraps around everything and makes it come to life and glow. I exclaimed, “Look how gorgeous this light is!” Husband replies, “Yeah, its blue, so what?” Hmmm. No sense trying to explain so I just enjoyed the drive in the heavenly light with a smile on my face.
OH! I digressed right from the start. Sorry…light. This baby session was full of heavenly light, yet this was open shade instead. In fact, I squealed like a school girl over a few of the shots during the session because of the light. I love natural, reflected light. Oh, me oh, my! I don’t know how it could’ve been any better today. Perfect light. Beautiful family. Gorgeous portraits. I sit here with a smile (and a few more squeals).
