Many Suffolk residents wait for the Suffolk Peanut Festival with great anticipation. I guess its always exciting when a carnival comes to town! This year I managed to sneak out for a couple hours with the kids.

I have heard about the fried foods at carnivals – they have changed over the years. Who in their right mind would eat a fried Oreo cookie?! We played it safe and had hot dogs. The noise level of the games, crowd, and machines brought me back to my youth.
