Sometimes when you want to send or share a message, making it large is the way to go. Have you ever considered a poster? Posters can be used in many ways and you have lots of options on how to display them.
Look around you and you’ll see posters used for movies, events, and advertising. The graphic design for these applications vary greatly, but they all get your attention because they’re bigger. They also carry a very simple message without complicated details. You need to consider the content or message you want to portray to your audience. What is the theme and the main headline that is going to grab attention?
I like projects that are outside-of-the-box thinking or taking a current product and presenting it in a new way. For example, if you typically hand out flyers, would a poster (one-time purchase) work instead? Do you have printed brochures and they never get used? Would producing that as a poster or e-document work instead?
If you’re not a business or non-profit organization, you may find more functional and fun ways to display many things! Here are a few ideas to share…
