I had the honor of collection images from previous military tribute services as well as individual service members that are part of The Church of The Living God International, Inc. (CLGI) for this year’s tribute. Two 24×36″ metallic prints, mounted on foamboard, were designed with square black and white images in a collage (shown on the far left and far right). The overhead lighting at the Crowne Plaza Ravinia didn’t showcase the metallic print in its full beauty, but it was gorgeous all the same. Hopefully more collages will be added each year as service members continue to submit their images. It was touching to see all the pictures taken from near and far. Some from this homeland and others on deployment. I am so thankful for our military and all they do for our country. I look forward to this military tribute on the Fourth of July holiday weekend to see the presenting of Color, military creeds read aloud with honor and pride, the American flag folding, and hundreds of military members marching in uniform (and civilian) – they are worthy to be honored for all they do. Thank you!
My deepest gratitude to Colleen Knight for her contribution of the fireworks images used in the background of the two collages.
